CJL Downtown – Chabad reaches out and welcomes every Jew, offering material and spiritual assistance to all. With the unconditional love and acceptance for which Chabad is famous, every Jew can find a sympathetic ear and helping hand, and answers to any questions they may have about Jewish life and practice. Founded in 2021, our mission was inspired by the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, whose love for every Jew was legendary.
We live in turbulent times, both in the world in general, and in the Jewish community. Our community faces both social and spiritual challenges. Chabad’s many programs and services strive to meet these challenges and ensure Jewish continuity by providing opportunities for every Jew to participate in Jewish life – to ask questions, to learn, to find joy in their heritage, or to seek guidance or assistance.
